How many trials would you go through for the one you love, The other half, the one you can’t see living without?

So goes the rock and roll whirlwind romance of down to earth, journal keeping and just getting through life Jill and her rock and roll, partying, moody and talented boyfriend James. James walks into Jill’s life at a dead-end job of hers and then they are off on the road.

We follow and Jill and his twin brother Alex and their band on their small tour. Jill soon learns that “I’m with the band” has its fair shares of ups and downs. This is the kind of love story you can’t help but love. Even when no one else quite understands why they stay together or their undying love.

I love seeing two imperfect people working to be perfect for each other. You cheer them on respite all odds.

The book is relatable and well written. I was surprised by the ending but enjoyed the “look back.” This was a quick read and hard to put down. I will now be adding her other works to my TBR.
